The story begins at the young tender age of five years old in 1968 and continues through puberty and on to adulthood. Barrow shares the many sad lows of her life, the unfortunate consequences she experienced because of the decisions she made, in which low self-esteem and her feeling of being unloved in her young and adult years brought much misfortune. Yet, at some point in her life when she finally called upon Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior, and found Him (and yes, He chose her), her life started to turn around for the better. Miss Barrow discovers that the more she put her faith in God the more God showed her favor because He loves her, because, ultimately, He is the lover of her body, soul and spirit.
