Shekina Moore is multi-gifted speaker, entrepreneur, educator, designer and author. In honor of her affinity for the dress, she launched her designer dress label SoKINA, made especially for women leaders, in Fall 2011. In the same year, she was named the Featured Designer of the Carolina Music Awards. A former school administrator, she has earned two degrees from North Carolina Central University and is a doctoral candidate at North Carolina State University. When not mixing, matching or designing wardrobe pieces, Moore enjoys time with God (quintessential to her purpose in this life), fun times with family and friends, travel, reading and sipping on her favorite indulgence… vanilla chai tea!
